2024 Bangkok International Mold and Processing Exhibition INTERMOLD
As a theme of the Manufacturing Expo (ME), the Thailand International Mold Exhibition (INTERMOLD) is held annually at the BITEC International Exhibition Center in Bangkok, Thailand. It has been successfully held for 25 sessions so far. In 2016, 51811 merchants from Southeast Asian countries attended the entire Machinery Manufacturing Exhibition for visits and negotiations, and 2425 exhibitors from 46 countries and regions participated, with a total exhibition area of about 40000 square meters in six pavilions ME includes six themes: InterMold Mold, Automotive Manufacturing, Assembly Technology, ICS Subcontracting Exhibition, Napcon Electronics Exhibition, and Surface Coating Surface Treatment Exhibition. The Mold Exhibition is the largest theme in terms of area and occupies the core position of the exhibition center. It has strong professionalism and representative technical level, reflecting the level of mechanical equipment development in Southeast Asia and even Asia’s mechanical and automotive manufacturing fields.
In recent years, Thailand has actively participated in regional economic cooperation, joined the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation and the ASEAN Free Trade Area, actively participated in water and land transportation cooperation in the upper Mekong River region among China, Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar, and promoted the process of the “Economic Growth Triangle” in the adjacent areas of Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia. With the development of manufacturing and service industries, especially the rise of tourism, Thailand’s economic structure has undergone significant changes, gradually transforming from an agricultural country that used to mainly export agricultural products to an emerging industrial country. In the trade between China and Thailand, mechanical equipment plays a major role in Thailand’s imports of goods from China.
