Injection mold processing requires the sequence of making all part drawings
Date: October 13, 2024
The order of disassembling and drawing part drawings from the mold assembly drawing should be: inside first, then outside; complex first, then simple; molded parts first, then structural parts.
1) Graphic requirements: It must be drawn to scale, allowing for enlargement or reduction. Reasonable view selection, correct projection, and appropriate layout. In order to make the processing patent number easy to understand and assemble, the graphics should be as consistent as possible with the final assembly drawing, and the graphics should be clear.

2) The annotation size requirements are unified, centralized, orderly, and complete. The order of dimensioning is as follows: first label the main component dimensions and mold inclination, then label the fitting dimensions, and finally label all dimensions. Mark the fitting dimensions first on non major component drawings, and then mark all dimensions.
3) Surface roughness. Mark the most commonly used roughness in the upper right corner of the drawing, as indicated by “Other 3.2.” Mark the other roughness symbols on each surface of the part separately.
4) Other contents such as part name, mold drawing number, material grade, heat treatment and hardness requirements, surface treatment, graphic scale, machining accuracy of free dimensions, technical specifications, etc. should be filled in correctly.
