1、 Adjustment of mold opening and closing speed and low voltage protection
During the opening or closing process of injection molds, the speed changes in three speed levels: “slow fast slow”. During the closing process, in order to ensure that the template can move without crawling, the system pressure that moves the moving template forward before the injection mold comes into contact is set to the lowest.
2、 Adjustment of mold clamping force
In normal production, gradually adjust from low to high according to the specific situation during actual injection, and try to use low clamping force while ensuring that the plastic products meet quality requirements.
3、 Introduce institutional adjustments
The introduction mechanism of plastic products seriously affects the quality of plastic products, and it is necessary to make careful and meticulous adjustments in the following aspects.

Generally, simple and shallow plastic products can be pushed out once, while complex and deep plastic products can be pushed out twice or even three times.
3. Launch speed
The speed of release is related to the plastic raw materials, plastic product structure, and mold temperature. If the speed is too high, it is easy to crush the plastic product. It should be adjusted from low to high, with the principle of not damaging the plastic product.
4、 Injection mold temperature control
The temperature of injection molds is closely related to the material being formed and must be strictly controlled. On the one hand, it is necessary to regularly calibrate the accuracy of the temperature control meter, and on the other hand, it is necessary to constantly observe whether the working status of the instrument is normal, whether the cooling pipeline is unobstructed and in good condition, in order to ensure the control accuracy of the mold temperature.
5、 Removal of plastic parts
There are three methods for removing molded parts: automatic attachment, manual removal, and robotic removal, depending on the size of the plastic product. However, regardless of the working method and component retrieval method, it should be ensured that the components and casting system materials are completely and cleanly removed during each working cycle. Especially when the injection machine is in fully automatic operation, it is necessary to set the “removal of parts” as a necessary condition for controlling the injection machine to enter the next working cycle. Otherwise, once a part is left in the injection mold and the injection machine performs the next cycle of mold closing, in most cases, it will damage the injection mold and even cause severe deformation and scrap, which must be given full attention.
6、 Injection mold cleaning
In production, plastic product burrs, fragments, and material carbides usually remain in the injection mold cavity. At this time, it is necessary to clean the injection mold cavity. The specific operation is as follows.
① Maximize the distance between injection molds, turn off the hydraulic system power supply of the mold mechanism, and all power sources related to the side axis, and open the safety door for cleaning.
② Cleaning tools must be made of aluminum or copper, and the use of hard tools such as screwdrivers, files, and wrenches is strictly prohibited to avoid damaging the surface of the mold cavity.
③ The surface of the injection mold cavity, especially in the case of mirror surfaces, should not be touched or wiped by hand. If there is any dirt, it should be wiped clean with a soft cotton cloth.
④ Once Huaheng appears in the mold cavity, a dedicated injection mold repairman should be hired to perform grinding treatment.
7、 Observation of the working status of injection molds
Observation of mold working status
It is necessary to constantly observe whether the sequence of actions of the injection mold is correct, the start and end of the core pulling slider, as well as the accuracy and reliability of positioning, locking, etc., whether there is serious wear and bite on the sliding and guiding parts of the injection mold, and whether the top rod and return are stuck, broken or not moving smoothly. If any problems are found, the machine should be stopped immediately for processing.
8、 Injection mold rust prevention
Some materials can produce corrosive gases during overheating and decomposition, causing rusting of injection molds. This situation usually occurs when molding is paused. Therefore, after stopping the molding process, it is necessary to clean the injection mold with a clean soft cloth, close the mold, and prevent corrosion caused by gases generated by other injection machines around it. When the molding process stops for a long time, the mold cavity should be wiped, rust inhibitor should be sprayed, the injection mold should be closed, butter should be applied, and the gate should be blocked.
9、 Unloading the mold and storing it in the warehouse
After the production of plastic products is completed, the injection mold should be thoroughly cleaned, and a comprehensive and detailed inspection should be conducted on the surface of the mold cavity, key dimensional parts, moving parts, and accurate positioning. After being intact, rust inhibitor should be applied. Remove the injection mold according to the reverse procedure of installing the mold and lock it with a locking plate.
