Design principle of plastic mold: dual color mold design
Date: October 11, 2024
The dual color mold uses a dual color/dual material injection machine, which can produce two types of rubber materials (mainly hard rubber, combined with soft rubber) and products of different colors, especially suitable for forming various buttons with permanent markings that match. Its advantages are: simultaneous molding shortens the production cycle and improves production efficiency. The plastic department now has a dual color/dual material injection machine with a right angle ARBURG520C injection machine.
The forming process of dual color/dual material products is as follows (taking the injection of two types of rubber materials, rubber material 1 and rubber material 2, as an example): (1) Inject rubber material 1 first; (2) After mold opening, push out the sprue; (3) The turntable rotates 180 degrees? To the other side; (4) Locking the mold; (5) Then inject rubber 2, and the other the first mock examination cavity also injects rubber 1 at the same time; (6) Maintain pressure and cool both adhesive material 1 and adhesive material 2 simultaneously; (7) Open the mold, eject the finished product and runner, and the other the first mock examination cavity ejects only the runner; (8) Repeat process (3) (rotate the turntable 180 ° to the other side).
Design principle of plastic mold: dual color mold design
(1) The mold has two independent ejection mechanisms;
(2) Vertical end injection, pouring from the mold parting surface or (three plate mold) water outlet between the push plate and the front template, as shown in Figure 12.2.6 for the three plate mold;
(3) The cooling of the rear mold is introduced through the middle of the rotating plate, and then introduced into the rear mold through the bottom plate of the mold;
(4) The mold is fixed on the rotating plate and requires positioning pins to ensure accurate alignment of the ejector pin;
(5) There must be positioning pins connecting the mold base plate, square iron, and cushion plate for positioning;
(6) To rotate the rear mold 180 degrees? Afterwards, the front and rear molds should be well coordinated, and the position dimensions of the mold edge nails and the (three plate mold) water outlet edge should be symmetrical and consistent.
