Improve the cooling conditions during grinding, such as using oil immersed grinding wheels or internally cooled grinding wheels. Introducing cutting fluid into the center of the grinding wheel allows the cutting fluid to directly enter the grinding area, exerting an effective cooling effect and preventing surface burns of the workpiece.

Reasonably select grinding amounts, and use precision grinding methods with smaller radial feed rates or even precision grinding. If the radial feed rate and grinding wheel speed are appropriately reduced, and the axial feed rate is increased, the contact area between the grinding wheel and the workpiece is reduced, and the heat dissipation conditions are improved, thereby effectively controlling the increase in surface temperature.

Its performance is hard and brittle, and it is easy to produce new cutting edges, so the cutting force is small and the grinding heat is small. It is better to use medium particle size, such as 46-60 mesh, in terms of grinding wheel hardness, use medium soft and soft (ZR1, ZR2 and R1, R2), that is, coarse-grained and low hardness grinding wheels. Good self excitation can reduce cutting heat.
